Prepared to Graduate & Succeed (K–12 Services)

Prepared to Graduate & Succeed by HEWC is a DOE-ready program designed to equip students—especially those with IEPs, at-risk backgrounds, or college/career uncertainties—with the tools to persist and transition successfully. We partner with schools to deliver workshops, family sessions, and 1:1 support that align with your existing goals and compliance requirements.

How it Works:

  • Launch: A 60–90 minute kickoff workshop for students, families, and staff.

  • Ongoing: Weekly clinics + individual guidance (day, evening, weekend options per your school’s agreement).

  • Support Areas: Academic planning, FAFSA & financial aid, workforce readiness, IEP alignment, and family engagement.

  • Reporting: In 60 days, you receive a two-pane scorecard—Preparedness (attendance, credit recovery, IEP milestones, FAFSA starts) and Readiness (career exploration, college apps, workforce pathways, family involvement).

Outcome Assurance: If agreed KPIs are missed, HEWC extends services up to 30 days at no fee. Our approach is plain language, culturally responsive, and always student-first.

Format: 60-min kickoff workshop + 30-min enrollments; recurring 90-min clinic with 1:1 sessions (day/evening/weekend options per union agreement).
Members leave with: ready-to-send requests, dated plans, and clear next steps.

  • Advance Tomorrow

Advance Next — Career & College (Weekly Clinics). Create IAPs, start FAFSA/TAP or training-fund requests, begin credential/college applications, map wage-step/ladder moves, and review credit-for-experience.
